When I saw that I had tied with the renowned Sir Liquid, I felt no little happiness spread through me, and a smile light up on my face. It was a result I did not expect, but it is a result I am most pleased and delighted with. For heaven has smiled upon me, this lowly soldier, unnamed among the great warriors of our Federation.
I thank the heavens, that in their plans they saw it fit to place me here in the Federation. For if I had not been brought to Novus by the winds of fate, perhaps I would never have gotten to know you, or if I did, it would only be on the field of war. But the threads of fate, tied together in an intricate web that none of us could ever comprehend, have led our paths to cross together in this most unusual way.

In freedom we live, in freedom we die. In freedom we fight, in freedom we fall. And in freedom we hope, in freedom we love.
I can only hope, once again, that these words reach to your heart, radiant child. I offer to you who I am. To bear wit and mind to match yours, to make you smile and light-hearted in the drudgery we face. To be strength when you grow weary, and bleed away your burdens. To take your spirit and bear it, to fight back when against the crushing blows of life it crumbles.
Take heart, radiant child, for countless souls share your dreams and pains, and cheer you on, and I among them. Know that in the end, whoever you chose, whoever you desire to be by your side, I shall still be here, if you have a need to speak and take what words this humble warrior can offer to you. For my love has been given to you in what form you shall recieve it, and that is how it shall be.
